Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Petrochemicals and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060), which rose 4.47% or 3.70 points to trade at 86.50 at the close. Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 3.13% or 1.75 points to end at 57.75 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 2.96% or 0.57 points to 19.85 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which lost 3.85% or 2.95 points to trade at 73.75 in late trade. Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) declined 3.70% or 1.36 points to end at 35.40 and Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004) shed 2.85% or 4.87 points to 165.75.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 71 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.82% or 0.50 to $61.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.49% or 0.33 to hit $67.71 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.01% or 12.00 to trade at $1204.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.86% to 4.2416, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.71% at 94.03.
