Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which rose 9.87% or 8.89 points to trade at 99.00 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) added 7.48% or 2.47 points to end at 35.50 and Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) was up 4.34% or 0.61 points to 14.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200), which lost 4.41% or 3.06 points to trade at 66.25 in late trade. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) declined 3.48% or 1.37 points to end at 38.00 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) shed 3.22% or 1.00 points to 30.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 118 to 46 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.39% or 0.24 to $60.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.46% or 0.29 to hit $64.16 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.36% or 4.20 to trade at $1172.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.1962, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 95.51.
