Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Industrial Investment and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.23% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.85% or 1.60 points to trade at 17.85 at the close. Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) added 3.92% or 0.98 points to end at 26.00 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was up 3.83% or 0.60 points to 16.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which lost 9.88% or 3.19 points to trade at 29.10 in late trade. Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) declined 4.13% or 1.80 points to end at 41.80 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) shed 3.31% or 0.77 points to 22.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 87 to 76 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.70% or 0.41 to $58.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.33% or 0.21 to hit $66.06 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.70% or 20.60 to trade at $1189.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.1812, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7497.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 95.26.
