Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Insurance and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Industrialization Co (SE:2060), which rose 10.09% or 1.70 points to trade at 18.55 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 6.51% or 8.25 points to end at 135.00 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was up 5.36% or 2.50 points to 49.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250), which lost 4.36% or 3.00 points to trade at 65.75 in late trade. Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) declined 3.08% or 0.40 points to end at 12.60 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) shed 2.78% or 0.100 points to 3.500.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 50 and 32 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.64% or 0.35 to $53.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.64% or 0.36 to hit $56.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.55 to trade at $1240.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 3.9430, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 101.56.
