Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which rose 4.38% or 6.25 points to trade at 149.00 at the close. AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) added 4.14% or 1.10 points to end at 27.70 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was up 3.70% or 2.90 points to 81.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270), which lost 2.16% or 3.00 points to trade at 136.00 in late trade. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) declined 1.83% or 0.25 points to end at 13.40 and National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220) shed 1.83% or 0.74 points to 39.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 58 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.97% or 0.56 to $56.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.80% or 0.49 to hit $61.56 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1187.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.12% to 4.0838, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 97.56.
