Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Transport and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which rose 8.30% or 2.10 points to trade at 27.40 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) added 5.31% or 0.85 points to end at 16.85 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) was up 3.95% or 0.95 points to 25.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which lost 5.04% or 0.35 points to trade at 6.60 in late trade. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) declined 3.33% or 0.35 points to end at 10.15 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) shed 3.30% or 1.75 points to 51.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 81 to 63 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.01% or 0.53 to $52.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.80% or 0.44 to hit $55.56 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.35 to trade at $1241.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.0098, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 100.21.
