Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Real Estate Development and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (TADAWUL:4220), which rose 10.00% or 0.71 points to trade at 7.81 at the close. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) added 9.99% or 1.68 points to end at 18.50 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050) was up 9.96% or 2.00 points to 22.08 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060), which lost 9.99% or 2.42 points to trade at 21.80 in late trade. Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:4002) declined 5.71% or 6.40 points to end at 105.60 and Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:6015) shed 4.51% or 0.13 points to 2.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 235 to 66 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.77% or 0.56 to $72.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.72% or 0.55 to hit $75.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 9.50 to trade at $2,434.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.42% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 102.90.
