Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Media & Publishing and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 6.31% or 0.74 points to trade at 12.46 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) added 6.17% or 0.70 points to end at 12.04 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 5.27% or 0.60 points to 11.98 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060), which lost 1.56% or 0.65 points to trade at 41.00 in late trade. AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) declined 1.27% or 0.28 points to end at 21.70 and Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) shed 1.16% or 0.20 points to 17.08.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 161 to 19 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.70% or 0.37 to $52.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.34% or 0.21 to hit $61.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1343.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.2143, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 96.905.
