Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Telecoms & IT and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 6.78% or 0.430 points to trade at 6.770 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 4.07% or 2.97 points to end at 76.00 and Arab National Bank (SE:1080) was up 3.70% or 0.92 points to 25.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200), which lost 2.62% or 0.67 points to trade at 24.92 in late trade. Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) declined 2.59% or 6.51 points to end at 245.00 and Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) shed 2.44% or 0.71 points to 28.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 118 to 61 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.89% or 0.56 to $63.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.70% or 0.46 to hit $66.00 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 10.60 to trade at $1330.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.61% to 4.6543, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 89.51.
