Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Retail, Agriculture & Food and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 7.80% or 1.15 points to trade at 15.90 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 6.41% or 0.25 points to end at 4.15 and Jarir Marketing Co (SE:4190) was up 6.00% or 8.00 points to 141.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180), which lost 9.87% or 3.70 points to trade at 33.80 in late trade. Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) declined 3.62% or 0.70 points to end at 18.65 and Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) shed 3.08% or 0.20 points to 6.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 54 and 27 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.34% or 0.16 to $46.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.34% or 0.17 to hit $49.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.18 to trade at $1221.92 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.29% to 4.0855, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 99.39.
