Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Cement and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.76% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084), which rose 9.96% or 3.35 points to trade at 37.00 at the close. MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) added 9.93% or 4.45 points to end at 49.25 and Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4143) was up 9.88% or 6.40 points to 71.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230), which lost 7.27% or 16.40 points to trade at 209.20 in late trade. Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:2120) declined 3.26% or 1.35 points to end at 40.05 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) shed 3.21% or 4.40 points to 132.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 189 to 104 and 22 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.53% or 0.44 to $81.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.15% or 0.13 to hit $85.27 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 5.90 to trade at $2,416.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.37% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 103.77.
