Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.65%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 9.99% or 1.73 points to trade at 19.04 at the close. Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100) added 9.85% or 5.82 points to end at 64.90 and Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) was up 5.56% or 0.88 points to 16.72 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which lost 3.24% or 1.27 points to trade at 37.95 in late trade. Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) declined 3.19% or 0.56 points to end at 16.98 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) shed 2.37% or 1.13 points to 46.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 142 to 40 and 1 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.83% or 1.04 to $57.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.09% or 0.68 to hit $63.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.45 to trade at $1285.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.09% to 4.4062, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 93.76.
