Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Telecoms & IT and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020), which rose 10.00% or 2.19 points to trade at 24.10 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 9.59% or 2.02 points to end at 23.08 and Food Products Co. (SE:2100) was up 7.45% or 1.08 points to 15.58 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008), which lost 9.60% or 11.89 points to trade at 112.00 in late trade. Savola Group (SE:2050) declined 4.18% or 1.69 points to end at 38.70 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) shed 3.66% or 1.01 points to 26.55.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 123 to 54 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.15% or 0.11 to $71.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $77.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.72% or 9.40 to trade at $1322.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.66% to 4.4740, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 92.50.
