Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Retail, Hotels & Tourism and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which rose 9.04% or 2.65 points to trade at 31.95 at the close. Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) added 7.57% or 5.50 points to end at 78.20 and Methanol Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:2001) was up 7.36% or 1.14 points to 16.62 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012), which lost 3.30% or 0.95 points to trade at 27.80 in late trade. Al Rajhi REIT (TADAWUL:4340) declined 2.47% or 0.21 points to end at 8.29 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) shed 2.32% or 5.40 points to 227.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 188 to 105 and 22 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.98% or 2.26 to $73.65 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.40% or 1.89 to hit $76.93 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 24.30 to trade at $2,536.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.24% to 4.15, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 101.62.
