Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Industrial Investment and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4165), which rose 5.61% or 8.40 points to trade at 158.00 at the close. SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4263) added 5.42% or 14.20 points to end at 276.00 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was up 5.17% or 7.80 points to 158.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included United International Holding (TADAWUL:4083), which lost 2.45% or 4.60 points to trade at 183.40 in late trade. Nayifat Finance Co (TADAWUL:4081) declined 2.43% or 0.36 points to end at 14.44 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) shed 2.43% or 0.90 points to 36.15.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 173 to 138 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.68% or 0.50 to $74.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.60% or 0.46 to hit $76.97 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 3.21 to trade at $2,657.91 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.96% to 3.91, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.87% at 107.86.
