Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Industrial Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 9.97% or 24.47 points to trade at 269.80 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 9.90% or 7.83 points to end at 86.90 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 7.13% or 0.57 points to 8.56 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which lost 2.18% or 0.73 points to trade at 32.70 in late trade. Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) declined 2.01% or 0.28 points to end at 13.62 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) shed 1.93% or 0.130 points to 6.620.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 78 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.48% or 0.30 to $62.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.38% or 0.25 to hit $65.54 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.50 to trade at $1331.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.09% to 4.6574, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 89.53.
