Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Retail and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.12% to hit a new 3-year high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200), which rose 6.77% or 2.20 points to trade at 34.70 at the close. Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) added 4.60% or 2.90 points to end at 66.00 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was up 4.34% or 3.80 points to 91.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE:4320), which lost 7.22% or 1.20 points to trade at 15.42 in late trade. Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) declined 6.26% or 0.36 points to end at 5.39 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) shed 2.80% or 0.75 points to 26.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 83 and 22 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.51% or 0.32 to $62.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.31% or 0.22 to hit $71.41 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 8.15 to trade at $1280.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.01% to 4.1822, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 97.815.
