Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Retail and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which rose 8.87% or 0.90 points to trade at 11.05 at the close. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) added 3.72% or 0.40 points to end at 11.15 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) was up 3.58% or 0.80 points to 23.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which lost 3.94% or 0.55 points to trade at 13.40 in late trade. Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) declined 3.22% or 0.55 points to end at 16.55 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) shed 3.00% or 0.65 points to 21.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 79 to 71 and 27 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.13% or 0.07 to $53.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $55.88 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1289.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.10% to 3.9868, while USD/SAR fell 0.15% to 3.7446.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 100.14.
