Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.29% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 0.81% or 260.0 points to trade at 32400.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 0.77% or 80.0 points to end at 10520.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 0.40% or 120.0 points to 30220.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which lost 2.21% or 300.0 points to trade at 13300.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.73% or 360.0 points to end at 20500.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 1.20% or 320.0 points to 26380.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 8 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.82% or 1.02 to $125.72 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.42% or 26.00 to hit $1860.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.20 to trade at $1249.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.17% to 3026.11, while BRL/COP fell 0.38% to 912.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.05% at 96.09.
