Investing.com – Peru equities were lower at the close on Monday, as in the sectors propelled shares .
At the close in Lima, the Lima Stock Exchange General unchanged 0.00% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Lima Stock Exchange General were Credicorp (LM:BAP), which rose 11.57% or 16.200 points to trade at 156.200 at the close. Trevali Mining (LM:TV) added 11.11% or 0.100 points to end at 1.000 and Cerro Verde (LM:CVE) was up 8.70% or 2.000 points to 25.000 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Inretail Peru (LM:INR), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.000 points to trade at 14.900 in late trade. Edelnor (LM:EDN) declined 0.91% or 0.050 points to end at 5.450 and Minsur (LM:MINi) shed 0.76% or 0.010 points to 1.300.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 19 to 9 and 3 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.33% or 0.20 to $58.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $66.46 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.12% or 13.20 to trade at $1187.70 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.36% to 3.1412, while EUR/PEN fell 0.19% to 3.4860.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 95.59.
