Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Energy and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 1.88% or 0.03 points to trade at 1.78 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 1.36% or 0.40 points to end at 29.80 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 0.56% or 0.40 points to 71.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 8.67% or 2.26 points to trade at 23.81 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 8.40% or 0.59 points to end at 6.43 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 7.18% or 2.6 points to 34.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 137 to 42 and 10 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.48% or 1.11 to $43.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.75% or 0.80 to hit $45.03 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.62% or 8.05 to trade at $1287.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.69% to 9.3117, while USD/NOK rose 0.96% to 8.0935.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 92.90.
