Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Diversified Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo), which rose 4.80% or 26.5 points to trade at 578.5 at the close. Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OSLO:REC) added 2.65% or 0.05 points to end at 1.82 and Schibsted ASA (OSLO:SBST) was up 1.33% or 6.5 points to 493.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OSLO:PGS), which lost 4.99% or 2.56 points to trade at 48.79 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OSLO:GOGLT) declined 4.80% or 1.80 points to end at 35.70 and Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OSLO:DETNOR) shed 4.55% or 2.55 points to 53.55.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 121 to 63 and 2 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.04% or 1.83 to $58.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.78% or 1.84 to hit $64.42 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.61% or 19.80 to trade at $1207.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.02% to 8.3806, while USD/NOK rose 1.42% to 7.5123.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.13% at 95.29.
