Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Auto & components and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 12.65% or 0.84 points to trade at 7.43 at the close. Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 0.74% or 2.9 points to end at 395.0 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 0.71% or 2.4 points to 342.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 4.49% or 0.05 points to trade at 1.02 in late trade. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 2.68% or 7.10 points to end at 258.10 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 2.09% or 0.50 points to 23.45.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 70 and 34 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.41% or 0.22 to $52.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.64% or 0.36 to hit $55.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.61% or 20.15 to trade at $1274.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.15% to 9.1285, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 8.6005.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 100.62.
