Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Materials and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 2.40% or 5.4 points to trade at 230.0 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) added 2.05% or 0.08 points to end at 3.98 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 2.00% or 2.90 points to 148.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO), which lost 4.33% or 2.13 points to trade at 47.08 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 3.00% or 1.03 points to end at 33.25 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 2.49% or 0.50 points to 19.62.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 86 to 86 and 27 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.06% or 0.53 to $49.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.42% or 0.75 to hit $51.89 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 5.53 to trade at $1262.57 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.36% to 9.4260, while USD/NOK rose 0.23% to 8.4314.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 97.26.
