Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA), which rose 9.63% or 5.80 points to trade at 66.00 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 2.77% or 0.16 points to end at 5.93 and Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) was up 2.44% or 0.97 points to 40.67 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 4.75% or 1.3 points to trade at 25.7 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 2.96% or 0.27 points to end at 8.86 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) shed 1.25% or 0.4 points to 31.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 81 and 21 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.53% or 0.74 to $47.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.79% or 0.87 to hit $47.85 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.45% or 5.65 to trade at $1247.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.17% to 9.3620, while USD/NOK rose 0.40% to 8.3622.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 95.43.
