Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 1.58% or 0.17 points to trade at 10.60 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) added 1.32% or 1.55 points to end at 118.60 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 0.48% or 0.80 points to 168.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which lost 3.29% or 19.00 points to trade at 558.00 in late trade. Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) declined 2.51% or 2.80 points to end at 108.70 and Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI) shed 2.38% or 4.60 points to 189.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 176 to 92 and 35 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.22% or 0.84 to $69.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.09% or 0.79 to hit $72.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.77% or 49.50 to trade at $2,751.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.63% to 11.98, while USD/NOK rose 0.76% to 11.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 104.05.
