Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Banking and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 2.86% or 5.3 points to trade at 190.3 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) added 1.74% or 0.02 points to end at 1.05 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 1.57% or 0.80 points to 51.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA), which lost 5.72% or 11.8 points to trade at 194.6 in late trade. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 2.29% or 3.30 points to end at 141.00 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) shed 2.23% or 3.4 points to 148.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 77 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.38% or 0.18 to $47.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.43% or 0.22 to hit $50.51 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 11.55 to trade at $1278.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.20% to 9.3466, while USD/NOK rose 0.18% to 7.9642.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 93.73.
