Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Banking and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 1.20% or 4.1 points to trade at 346.6 at the close. Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) added 0.39% or 0.60 points to end at 153.80 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 0.31% or 0.25 points to 79.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which lost 2.91% or 1.01 points to trade at 33.70 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 2.63% or 0.03 points to end at 1.11 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 2.41% or 3.60 points to 145.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 70 and 27 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.40% or 0.20 to $49.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.14% or 0.08 to hit $55.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.65 to trade at $1327.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.02% to 9.3850, while USD/NOK fell 0.28% to 7.8503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.80.
