Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 9.18% or 23.00 points to trade at 273.50 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 4.07% or 2.70 points to end at 69.00 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 2.88% or 0.86 points to 30.71 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which lost 10.07% or 10.30 points to trade at 92.00 in late trade. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 5.53% or 20.60 points to end at 352.90 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) shed 3.16% or 1.8 points to 55.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 94 to 82 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.70% or 0.51 to $72.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.46% or 1.16 to hit $80.38 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1291.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.20% to 9.4729, while USD/NOK fell 0.12% to 8.0396.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 93.46.
