Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Auto & components, Insurance and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 6.14% or 13.6 points to trade at 235.0 at the close. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 0.96% or 0.65 points to end at 68.55 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 0.85% or 0.60 points to 71.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS), which lost 6.64% or 10.6 points to trade at 149.2 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 3.12% or 1.25 points to end at 38.80 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 3.00% or 0.32 points to 10.33.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 117 to 69 and 18 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.84% or 0.55 to $66.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $70.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 10.30 to trade at $1352.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.47% to 9.5512, while USD/NOK fell 0.68% to 7.6871.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 88.84.
