Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Energy and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 5.29% or 3.65 points to trade at 72.60 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 5.09% or 4.04 points to end at 83.38 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 3.94% or 8.80 points to 232.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which lost 9.56% or 0.96 points to trade at 9.09 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 5.89% or 1.42 points to end at 23.30 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) shed 4.73% or 11.2 points to 228.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 82 and 21 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.38% or 0.85 to $60.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.13% or 0.74 to hit $64.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.90 to trade at $1318.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.10% to 9.7057, while USD/NOK rose 0.29% to 7.9296.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 90.26.
