Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which rose 1.67% or 1.20 points to trade at 73.15 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) added 1.45% or 2.05 points to end at 143.70 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) was up 1.43% or 2.20 points to 156.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which lost 1.28% or 1.15 points to trade at 88.70 in late trade. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) declined 1.17% or 3.10 points to end at 262.00 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) shed 1.08% or 0.72 points to 65.76.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 144 to 131 and 38 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.93% or 0.75 to $80.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.80% or 0.68 to hit $84.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.17% or 28.45 to trade at $2,457.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.04% to 11.79, while USD/NOK rose 0.19% to 10.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 104.13.
