Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Capital Goods and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which rose 3.03% or 2.22 points to trade at 75.38 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 2.52% or 1.85 points to end at 75.25 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 1.88% or 1.00 points to 54.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which lost 4.70% or 0.71 points to trade at 12.00 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 4.48% or 1.73 points to end at 36.94 and Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) shed 4.05% or 0.15 points to 3.46.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 65 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.20% or 2.14 to $64.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.38% or 2.57 to hit $73.37 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.07% or 27.10 to trade at $1281.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.45% to 9.4553, while USD/NOK rose 0.05% to 8.1404.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 94.74.
