Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.74%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which rose 6.76% or 8.10 points to trade at 127.90 at the close. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) added 1.89% or 1.30 points to end at 70.00 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was up 1.80% or 3.90 points to 220.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which lost 1.72% or 0.10 points to trade at 5.49 in late trade. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 0.60% or 1.80 points to end at 300.00 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) shed 0.44% or 0.70 points to 158.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 161 to 120 and 30 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.91% or 0.71 to $77.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.51% or 0.41 to hit $80.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 19.30 to trade at $2,488.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.23% to 11.77, while USD/NOK fell 0.55% to 10.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 102.19.
