Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL), which rose 3.81% or 4.55 points to trade at 123.90 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) added 2.95% or 0.30 points to end at 10.47 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 2.72% or 14.50 points to 547.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD), which lost 3.03% or 3.25 points to trade at 104.10 in late trade. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 0.99% or 2.10 points to end at 209.10 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) shed 0.48% or 1.10 points to 228.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 147 to 133 and 23 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.26% or 0.90 to $72.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.13% or 0.85 to hit $75.93 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.65 to trade at $2,751.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.09% to 11.96, while USD/NOK fell 0.21% to 10.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 103.58.
