Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which rose 2.30% or 2.20 points to trade at 98.00 at the close. Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) added 1.56% or 4.10 points to end at 267.10 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was up 1.23% or 1.60 points to 131.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which lost 3.54% or 0.43 points to trade at 11.59 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) declined 2.27% or 2.80 points to end at 120.80 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) shed 1.75% or 2.60 points to 146.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 143 to 136 and 33 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.02% or 0.70 to $69.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.81% or 0.59 to hit $73.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 9.80 to trade at $2,739.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.02% to 11.86, while USD/NOK rose 0.26% to 10.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 103.62.
