Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.24% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which rose 4.35% or 0.25 points to trade at 6.00 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 4.13% or 11.70 points to end at 294.70 and Norwegian Finans Holding ASA (OL:NOFI) was up 2.46% or 2.20 points to 90.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which lost 3.11% or 3.6 points to trade at 112.0 in late trade. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 2.80% or 1.40 points to end at 48.66 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) shed 2.63% or 12.20 points to 451.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 87 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.56% or 1.81 to $68.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.05% or 1.56 to hit $74.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 3.00 to trade at $1311.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.38% to 9.6591, while USD/NOK rose 0.85% to 8.1380.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 92.94.
