Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI), which rose 2.71% or 5.00 points to trade at 189.30 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 1.67% or 10.50 points to end at 638.50 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) was up 1.33% or 0.90 points to 68.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR), which lost 2.32% or 7.05 points to trade at 296.95 in late trade. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) declined 1.62% or 4.20 points to end at 255.00 and Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) shed 1.02% or 2.60 points to 253.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 152 to 131 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.30% or 1.04 to $79.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.30% or 1.07 to hit $81.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 7.00 to trade at $2,511.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.13% to 11.80, while USD/NOK fell 0.30% to 10.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 102.72.
