Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which rose 2.68% or 3.00 points to trade at 115.00 at the close. Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 1.98% or 0.10 points to end at 5.35 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was up 1.92% or 0.22 points to 11.67 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which lost 1.89% or 1.15 points to trade at 59.60 in late trade. Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) declined 1.67% or 1.30 points to end at 76.65 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) shed 1.29% or 1.70 points to 130.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 156 to 139 and 18 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.64% or 0.45 to $69.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.56% or 0.41 to hit $73.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.70 to trade at $2,527.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.35% to 11.76, while USD/NOK fell 0.66% to 10.61.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 101.23.
