Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Beverage, Food Producers & Processors and Distributors sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which rose 6.02% or 8.80 points to trade at 155.00 at the close. Oulmes (CS:OULM) added 5.98% or 102 points to end at 1809 and Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO) was up 4.88% or 74 points to 1589 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Brasseries Du Maroc (CS:SBM), which lost 5.62% or 149 points to trade at 2500 in late trade. Cosumar (CS:CSMR) declined 4.15% or 13 points to end at 300 and Label Vie (CS:LBV) shed 3.97% or 64 points to 1550.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 18 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.42% or 0.21 to $50.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.43% or 0.24 to hit $55.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.12% or 14.81 to trade at $1310.39 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.04% to 11.1580, while USD/MAD rose 0.09% to 9.3525.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 91.88.
