With U.S. stock futures trading higher this morning on Monday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:
- Wall Street expects McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD) to report quarterly earnings at $3.00 per share on revenue of $6.58 billion before the opening bell. McDonald's shares gained 0.3% to $256.47 in after-hours trading.
- HSBC Holdings plc (NYSE: HSBC) reported a 240% surge in pre-tax profit for the third quarter and announced a fresh $3 billion share buyback program. HSBC shares fell 1.5% to close at $36.71 on Friday.
- Analysts expect Pinterest, Inc. (NYSE: PINS) to earn 20 cents per share on revenue of $743.50 million for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings after the markets close. Pinterest shares gained 0.5% to $24.49 in after-hours trading.
- International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF) said Clariant has agreed to buy the cosmetic ingredients unit of IFF for $810 million. International Flavors & Fragrances shares gained 1% to close at $67.85 on Friday.
- Analysts expect ON Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: ON) to report quarterly earnings at $1.34 per share on revenue of $2.15 billion before the opening bell. ON Semiconductor shares gained 1.2% to $84.52 in after-hours trading.
