Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Insurance and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 7.52% or 1.20 points to trade at 17.15 at the close. AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) added 4.65% or 1.09 points to end at 24.55 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was up 4.62% or 2.44 points to 55.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which lost 4.09% or 0.57 points to trade at 13.35 in late trade. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 2.06% or 1.05 points to end at 49.90 and Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) shed 2.02% or 0.31 points to 15.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 128 to 35 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.71% or 0.42 to $59.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.91% or 0.59 to hit $66.22 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.63% or 7.40 to trade at $1190.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.63% to 4.2104, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.53% at 94.61.
