Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.07% or 9.80 points to trade at 483.80 at the close. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) added 1.59% or 1.00 points to end at 63.85 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.33% or 3.0 points to 228.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 2.67% or 0.56 points to trade at 20.42 in late trade. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 2.57% or 2.70 points to end at 102.40 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) shed 2.05% or 4.0 points to 191.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 387 to 200 and 6 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 4.52% or 1.50 to $31.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 5.44% or 1.84 to hit $32.09 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1098.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.11% to 9.2739, while USD/SEK rose 0.29% to 8.5219.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 98.72.
