Investing.com – Italy equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Travel & Leisure, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were ENI (MI:ENI), which rose 1.25% or 0.17 points to trade at 13.81 at the close. Leonardo SpA (MI:LDOF) added 1.15% or 0.170 points to end at 14.900 and Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) was up 1.09% or 0.27 points to 24.97 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Salvatore Ferragamo (MI:SFER), which lost 3.95% or 0.93 points to trade at 22.63 in late trade. Yoox Net-A-Porter Group SpA (MI:YNAP) declined 2.58% or 0.80 points to end at 30.15 and Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna (MI:EMII) shed 2.55% or 0.120 points to 4.588.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 207 to 159 and 17 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.34% or 0.17 to $49.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $55.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.19 to trade at $1327.11 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.32% to 1.1957, while EUR/GBP fell 0.94% to 0.8812.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.80.
