Investing.com – Italy equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Ferrari NV (BIT:RACE), which rose 2.40% or 10.10 points to trade at 430.20 at the close. Stellantis NV (BIT:STLAM) added 2.29% or 0.31 points to end at 13.78 and Hera (BIT:HRA) was up 1.69% or 0.06 points to 3.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included UniCredit SpA (BIT:CRDI), which lost 3.32% or 1.26 points to trade at 36.74 in late trade. Banco Bpm SpA (BIT:BAMI) declined 2.59% or 0.16 points to end at 5.95 and Banca Popolare di Sondrio ScpA (BIT:BPSI) shed 2.02% or 0.14 points to 6.78.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 268 to 217 and 36 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.49% or 1.06 to $69.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.25% or 0.92 to hit $72.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 8.55 to trade at $2,654.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.56% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.57.
