Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL), which rose 2.44% or 80 points to trade at 3361 at the close. Harel (TA:HARL) added 2.38% or 48 points to end at 2067 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 1.92% or 26 points to 1383 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG), which lost 2.67% or 680 points to trade at 24800 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 2.16% or 186 points to end at 8416 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) shed 2.14% or 450 points to 20540.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 224 to 187 and 7 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.34% or 0.60 to $45.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.33% or 0.63 to hit $48.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.71 to trade at $1245.39 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.51% to 3.4859, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 3.9821.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 95.45.
