Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp), which rose 1.68% or 0.9 points to trade at 54.4 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) added 1.07% or 15 points to end at 1411 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) was up 0.87% or 380 points to 43880 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which lost 1.71% or 200 points to trade at 11520 in late trade. Mylan NV (TA:MYL) declined 1.03% or 140 points to end at 13450 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) shed 0.96% or 190 points to 19510.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 197 to 190 and 20 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.82% or 1.80 to $45.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 3.35% or 1.66 to hit $47.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1221.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.03% to 3.5143, while EUR/ILS fell 0.21% to 3.9815.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 96.14.
