Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Communication and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 2.80% or 237 points to trade at 8707 at the close. Mylan NV (TA:MYL) added 1.26% or 170 points to end at 13690 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 1.05% or 14 points to 1342 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 2.08% or 12.8 points to trade at 602.7 in late trade. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) declined 1.45% or 2.3 points to end at 156.7 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 1.05% or 770 points to 72700.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 255 to 147 and 98 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.39% or 0.59 to $43.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.63% or 0.73 to hit $45.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.09 to trade at $1251.89 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.33% to 3.5511, while EUR/ILS rose 0.23% to 3.9621.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 97.24.
