Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.93%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 0.98% or 27 points to trade at 2779 at the close. Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) added 0.62% or 100 points to end at 16150 and International (TA:FTIN) was up 0.58% or 31 points to 5392 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 5.65% or 370 points to trade at 6180 in late trade. Migdal Insurance (TA:MGDL) declined 3.21% or 15.0 points to end at 452.0 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) shed 2.31% or 16.0 points to 677.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 216 to 127 and 110 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.30% or 1.92 to $60.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.44% or 2.15 to hit $64.84 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1176.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.58% to 3.8229, while EUR/ILS fell 1.00% to 4.2988.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.21% at 95.42.
