Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which rose 2.30% or 630 points to trade at 28010 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 2.14% or 11.0 points to end at 525.0 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG) was up 1.40% or 360 points to 26110 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which lost 4.34% or 2810 points to trade at 61900 in late trade. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 4.15% or 2810 points to end at 64910 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 3.64% or 37 points to 979.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 304 to 100 and 12 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.94% or 0.49 to $51.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.24% or 0.72 to hit $57.43 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 7.13 to trade at $1290.13 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.17% to 3.4866, while EUR/ILS rose 0.00% to 4.1315.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 92.96.
